PKOIN Supply Explained
One block per minute, 2.5 PKOIN per block. Block rewards are the only way new PKOIN is created, and every halving cuts that reward in half — so the remaining share of the hard cap keeps shrinking.
The bar tracks how much of the fixed 24,375,000 PKOIN hard cap the chain has already issued. The gold markers are the halving milestones still ahead: the reward is cut in half every 2,100,000 blocks, so each marker is a block height - not a promise about a date.
What the Chain Is Doing Right Now
Every tile is read straight from the chain: the issued amount from the current block height, block time and transactions from the last 100 blocks. The long-run average since block 0 is about 1,438 blocks per day.
Measuring the chain…
Halving Schedule & the Run to the Cap
PKOIN halves its block reward every 2,100,000 blocks (about four years) — the interval is a consensus constant in the project's own source code. Because each halving only ever adds half of the previous era, the whole series converges on a finite total. That total is exactly the 24,375,000 PKOIN hard cap, which means the cap is a mathematical limit: the chain approaches it but never quite reaches it.
| Epoch | Period | Reward / Block | New / Day | New / Year | Blocks | New PKOIN | Cumulative Supply | % of Cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Why 24,375,000 and not 24,000,000: the block explorer prints its percentage against 24,000,000, but the same widget labels the bar "24,375,000 Total Ever Issued". The exact limit of the emission series is 24,375,000.
Where the extra 3,375,000 come from: the very first 75,000 blocks were mined with Proof of Work and paid 50 PKOIN each instead of 5. That one-off is 75,000 × 45 = 3,375,000 PKOIN — without it a plain halving series would end at 21,000,000.
Dates are design values: the year columns assume the protocol target of one block per minute (1,440 per day). Halvings are triggered by block height, never by a calendar date, so every date shifts if the real block rate drifts.
