Get Started with Block DX
1. Download and Setup the Components
To begin using Block DX, you need three main components, all easily installed via the official All-In-One Installer:
- Blocknet Core Wallet - runs the network and stores your BLOCK coins.
- Block DX - the decentralized exchange interface.
- XLite Wallet - a multi-coin wallet for fast and convenient trading.
Block DX connects to both Blocknet Core and XLite, while these two are independent. Block DX serves as the bridge between your wallets and the decentralized network.
2. Configure and Connect
Once installed, all components must be connected. The installer configures most of the connections automatically.
- Keep Blocknet Core online to maintain network connection.
- Open Block DX and let it detect your wallets automatically.
- You can also connect native wallets directly for more flexibility.
- XLite is ideal for quick and lightweight trading.
3. Start Trading
To trade on Block DX, you need a small amount of BLOCK coins in your Blocknet Core wallet to cover network fees.
- Create a BLOCK buy order using another coin such as LTC as maker. Makers pay no fees.
- Send your new BLOCK from XLite to your Blocknet Core wallet.
- You can now pay taker fees and trade any supported assets.
- Keep all components online. If you go offline, trades pause until reconnect.
